We hear you, nobody wants white marks on their clothes - and it's easier to avoid them than you think.
Let us share a few tips on how to apply your Tinycool correctly to ensure no leftover residue on your pits and any staining on your wonderful clothes:
Start with Clean, Dry Skin
For best results, apply your deodorant of Tinycool to clean, dry armpits. This allows the deodorant to absorb better and work effectively throughout the day.
Don't apply too much
A couple of swipes are all you need! Our formula is concentrated, so there’s no need to over-apply. Start with 2–3 gentle swipes.
Rub it in
Make sure there's no excess product sitting on your skin. If there is, use your hands to rub it in.
Stay Consistent
You may experience a transition period when switching to natural deodorant, and it can take a few days to a couple of weeks for your body to fully adjust. Keep using your Tinycool daily and enjoy long-lasting freshness without harsh chemicals.
First of all - don't worry - this is totally normal!
If you’ve been doing your research on natural deodorants, you may have come across people mentioning a ‘transition period’. This is a period of excess sweating that can occur when your body adjusts from years of antiperspirant use to a natural deodorant.
Some customers may find that they sweat, and perhaps smell, a little more than they are used to for up to 2 weeks until things settle down as your body gets used to functioning again without aluminum salts blocking your underarm sweat glands. Essentially, your body goes into overdrive by sweating more. Don't worry though, as this won’t last for long and will slow down quickly. Many people who have fully transitioned to natural deodorant find they even sweat less than they did when they used antiperspirant! Our biggest advice is to stick with it, as there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
We've got some tips to make this phase a little less... well... sweaty:
Give those pits a quick rinse
It’s not sweat-production itself that causes body odor, but rather when sweat is left on the skin, encouraging the growth of odor-causing bacteria. If you can splash your pits quickly in the sink (or have a quick shower if you prefer), you can wash away the sweat and stop the development of any unwanted odors.
Use a gentle exfoliant when you shower
Emphasis on the gentle here, as your underarm skin is quite delicate! A nice sugar scrub (which you can make at home) would do the trick nicely. This will help give your underarms a good clean at the end of the day - or the beginning, if you're a morning shower-er - and leave your pits feeling fresh!
Apply Tinycool throughout the day as needed
In the early days, you can also just top up your deodorant if you sense things getting a bit funky.

Perspiration, deodorant and antiperspirants
Perspiring is a bodily function directly linked to your internal temperature regulation. If your body gets too warm, your brain sends automatic impulses to your glands, telling them to secrete perspiration. The thin layer of fluid (sweat) produced on your skin will then evaporate, which extracts heat from your body, causing your body to cool down. Furthermore, perspiring ensures that toxins are eliminated from your body.
Luckily, not all perspiration means you will smell. You’ve got sweat glands – eccrine glands – all over your body, and during puberty, you get an extra set of glands; apocrine glands. These apocrine glands are formed specifically in your armpits and groin area. When you perspire, both the eccrine and the apocrine glands secrete odorless fluids. However, bacteria change the fluids secreted from the apocrine glands into butyric acid. And these butyric acids are the cause for the characteristically ‘smelly sweat’.
Perspiration doesn’t just happen for the fun of it; your body is regulating its temperature. Therefore, the easiest and most foolproof way to reduce the amount you perspire is to ensure you don’t get too hot. However, if it’s a hot day, you have an upcoming nerve-wracking conversation, or you’re exercising intensely, your body will still have to make sure you cool off. The following tips might help you reduce the amount you perspire:
- Clothing: One of the most important things to consider when you perspire is the type of material of the clothes you wear. Some fabrics don’t allow for much airflow, causing your body to hold on to more heat. In addition, the type of material of your clothes also affects the smell of your perspiration. In polyester, bacteria flourish the most. And since these bacteria are the cause of your bodily odors, you will want to wear polyester as little as possible. Instead, wear 100% cotton (or bamboo) clothing, since bacteria don’t like these fabrics as much. And, as an extra little pro-tip, wear either black or white clothes on particularly stressful days – your sweaty patches aren’t as visible on these colors!
- Stress: An important cause of perspiration is stress. Stress hormones give a signal to your body to start working harder. This heats up your body, meaning you will start to sweat to cool off again. Therefore, try to stay as relaxed as possible and exercise regularly: regular exercise helps your body reduce the production of stress hormones.
- Coffee: Caffeine stimulates your central nervous system, which in turn controls your sweat glands. In addition, a hot drink will heat up your body, which means you will have to start sweating to cool down again. If you are someone who perspires a lot, you might want to consider cutting down on your caffeine intake!
Hot spices: Just like with caffeine, hot spices send neurotransmitters to the brain. This is due to the capsaicin in the spices, which causes the brain to believe the body is overheating. And, again, the logical response of the body is to start sweating. So, watch out with spicy foods!
An antiperspirant blocks the exits of the sweat glands long-term, and therefore, prevents the production of sweat. A deodorant, however, does not prevent sweating; it deals with the bacteria on the skin by disguising the smell. A regular deodorant often has alcohol and fragrances to mask the smell. Oftentimes people confuse deodorant and antiperspirant, therefore, in order to know exactly what you are dealing with; make sure you read the list of ingredients. If the list mentions ‘aluminum, potassium alum, alum or zirconium’, you are dealing with an antiperspirant.
As mentioned, antiperspirants block your pores – they have an astringent effect on the skin pores in your armpits and therefore close off these pores, meaning you perspire less than usual. The active ingredients in antiperspirants – aluminum salts – react with the electrolytes in your perspiration, which in turn forms a gel-like ‘plug’ in your sweat glands. This plug blocks your pores and prevents your sweat gland from secreting fluids. Therefore, when using enough antiperspirants, the majority of your sweat glands will not be secreting sweat onto your skin. Not only does this disturb your body’s internal temperature regulation, but it also inhibits the release of toxins from your body.
Deodorants mask the smell. An antiperspirant can never stop your sweat glands from secreting all fluids, meaning that you will still be producing a sweaty smell when the bacteria convert the fluids from the apocrine glands into butyric acid. This characteristically ‘sweaty smell’ is disguised by the alcohol and fragrances in the deodorant. Which often results in a body odor that is a mix of sweat and fragrances from your deodorant.
We think this approach is illogical and obsolete. Tinycool thinks and does things differently. We choose to attack the bacteria directly responsible for the smelly sweat. Our most important component is micro silver. Which inhibits the growth of bacteria long-term, and no bacteria, means no smell. Simple. Furthermore, we believe that you should not be blocking your body’s secretion of toxins. This way, after all, toxins cannot leave your body! Tinycool does not close off your pores, but prevents the smell of your perspiration occurring in the first place.
The question, “Does the usage of deodorants with a base of aluminum increase the chance of getting (breast) cancer?” is one that keeps popping up in several sources. More and more research questions the safety of the most common deodorants and antiperspirants, which, in particular, have aluminum chloride as an active substance.
Nearly everyone uses deodorant daily and therefore a possible link with cancer can lead to worry or disbelief. In general, aluminum is considered to be safe, however, due to a lack of research, there is still a big question about the precise effects this can have on human cells.
It is not up to us to make a statement on the safety and the effects of aluminum in deodorants, nevertheless, we do wonder if it is sensible to be spraying and rolling deodorants containing aluminum on your underarms, without having any conclusive information about this.
We therefore endorse the general consensus that more research needs to be done on the effects of aluminum in deodorants, to gain more clarity about the hypothesis that aluminum contributes to the increase of cases of breast cancer. At this stage, there just isn’t enough evidence to be able to draw any conclusions.
Tinycool and how it works
Tinycool is the perfect companion for young, active individuals! With its vibrant and sophisticated design, Tinycool is not only compact like a lipstick but also easy to carry with you anywhere, anytime. Created for quick and convenient use, it helps you stay confident, comfortable, and free from concerns about body odor throughout the day.
With advanced technology, Tinycool prevents odor-causing bacteria, keeping you fresh without clogging your pores. It’s not just a body care product; it’s a statement of modern, youthful style and confidence. Tinycool will definitely become an essential in the bags of young people who are always seeking comfort and confidence, no matter where or when!
Tinycool is not your ordinary deodorant, but an advanced solution designed to completely eliminate body odor. While ordinary deodorants simply mask the smell of sweat, Tinycool prevents odor by inhibiting the bacteria that cause it. Unlike antiperspirants that block sweat glands with aluminum-based compounds, Tinycool uses natural technology to stop odor before it even starts.
Tinycool works for days after just one use. Thanks to its innovative formula, which includes microscopic silver, it reduces the amount of bacteria on your skin, ensuring that body odor does not appear. The effectiveness of Tinycool lasts from 48 hours to up to 7 days, meaning you do not need to use it as often. This is also beneficial for your skin, as it is not constantly exposed to products that can cause irritation.
The product is applied directly to the skin in the form of a serum, ensuring precise delivery of the product's active ingredients. The serum is not only effective but also gentle on your skin, avoiding irritation. In addition, because it is not water-soluble, Tinycool continues to work even after bathing or strenuous physical activity, maintaining its effectiveness throughout the day.
Tinycool comes in 4 mild and refreshing scents, but not too strong and affecting when you spray perfume. The 4 scents give you more options for daily use.
Another benefit of Tinycool is that it does not leave stains on clothes. The product does not contain ingredients that cause discoloration, meaning no more yellow stains on your shirts. In addition, Tinycool helps you save money by extending the life of your clothes.
Tinycool serum is also much more concentrated than conventional deodorants. This means you use much less of it, reducing manufacturing, shipping and packaging waste, making the product a more environmentally friendly choice. In fact, it significantly reduces the environmental impact by reducing the number of deodorant bottles thrown away each year.
To understand how Tinycool works, it's essential to first understand what causes body odor. Sweat is produced by two types of glands: eccrine glands (found all over the body) and apocrine glands (located mainly in the armpits and groin). These glands secrete odorless fluids, but when bacteria come in contact with the secretions from the apocrine glands, they break it down into butyric acid. This process leads to the characteristic "smelly sweat."
Many deodorants and antiperspirants work by blocking the sweat glands, preventing sweat production. However, this is only a temporary solution and never fully stops sweating. As a result, a mixture of sweat and artificial fragrance often leads to an unpleasant odor. Plus, because the active ingredients in traditional products break down quickly, you have to reapply them throughout the day.
Tinycool takes a different approach by using micro-silver, a natural and long-lasting solution. Micro-silver targets the bacteria responsible for the odor, preventing the formation of the offensive acids. No bacteria, no smell – it’s that simple! Unlike other products, Tinycool only needs to be applied 1-2 times per week for most people, and some may only need it once a week for effective odor control.
Active Ingredients of Tinycool
Tinycool's effectiveness is thanks to its unique, natural ingredients that target bacteria without the need for harsh chemicals. Here’s how it works:
Betel Leaf Extract:
Known for its antibacterial properties, betel leaf helps to reduce odor-causing bacteria on the skin, keeping you fresh and clean.
Peanut Membrane Extract:
This natural extract is known to neutralize odors and provides additional antioxidant benefits, ensuring the product works effectively over time.
Green Tea Extract:
Green tea’s anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties help keep your skin free from irritation and reduce excess perspiration.
Lactococcus Ferment Extract:
This ingredient helps maintain a healthy balance of skin bacteria, preventing the buildup of the harmful bacteria that lead to body odor.
Yes, Tinycool works for everybody. Men, women, young and old. Everyone perspires and develops some sort of perspiration smell from puberty.
You have to understand that you don’t just have one type of bacteria on your body; the diversity of bacteria can be compared to the diversity of plants and animals in a tropical rainforest. This tropical rainforest of bacteria is called ‘a microbiome’. And just like in the rainforest, sometimes there is more of one type of plant, and other times more of another. There are a couple of types of bacteria that specifically cause the smell of sweat, while others do not cause a smell at all. In some people, the ‘non-smell’ bacteria even overpower the ‘smelly’ bacteria. These lucky people do not need any deodorant at all.
In addition to the microbiome, the number of apocrine glands is of importance as well. Eccrine sweat glands can be found all over your body, but during puberty, you develop apocrine sweat glands, in particular, in your armpits. The fluids secreted from these glands cause, together with the ‘smelly’ bacteria, your perspiration smell. If, despite using Tinycool, the ‘smelly bacteria’ still keep the upper hand for you, then Tinycool will most likely not work as well for you. If Tinycool does attack these bacteria for you, then applying Tinycool once a week should be sufficient.
Your personal microbiome is just as hard to predict as the rainforest, but luckily, for most of us, Tinycool stays effective for several days. The feedback from thousands of customers teaches us that for most people it is enough to apply Tinycool twice a week, and for some people even once a week suffices.
Because Tinycool does not contain aluminum and salt, there is no accumulation of these salts in your clothes causing discoloration and damage to your shirts.
Application and use
If you have been using traditional deodorants or antiperspirants for years, your body is used to how they work and how you use them. Tinycool works differently and it may take you a while to get used to it. With our tips and tricks below, you will quickly learn that Tinycool is not only a carefree deodorant, but also harmless and extremely effective.
Tip 1: Not too much Tinycool
Your little trial tube is very small. However, it should last you an average of 6 to 7 weeks. This is because Tinycool is extremely concentrated. You only need a little bit at a time! Wash your armpits with soap, pat dry and rub a pea-sized amount of Tinycool into each armpit. But remember, don't use too much! We mean it when we say this; Tinycool is extremely concentrated and very easy to use.
Tip 2: Discover your 'frequency of use'
Frequency of use, yes, for lack of a better word. Even though you only apply a little Tinycool at a time, it actually works for days. On average, people apply Tinycool every 3 days. But everyone has their own frequency, which requires a little trial and error. For example, you can start applying it every other day and then extend it to whatever time works for you!
Tip 3: New clothes
Tinycool neutralizes the bacteria that causes your sweat to smell. It doesn't mask the odor, it prevents it. You should first wash the armpits of your t-shirts, shirts and sweaters (preferably with vinegar or alcohol, followed by a hot steam iron to kill all the bacteria) before starting fresh and odor-free!
Tip 4: Dare to detox
Sweat is important for your body. That’s why Tinycool is free of salts and aluminum, which block your sweat glands. Conventional deodorants that contain aluminum salts or baking soda often disrupt your body’s sweat management process and cause it to accumulate excess toxins. Tinycool fixes this for you—naturally and odor-free! It sometimes increases your perspiration, both in terms of sweat and odor, for a short time at first. This ‘detox’ effect stops once you’ve used Tinycool for a longer period of time. If you’re a little unsure, start using Tinycool over the weekend, so you can experiment with it in your own safe space and find out how it works for you.
Tinycool doesn't seem to work (properly) for me, why is that?
It's important to explain the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant. Deodorants target odor, while antiperspirants target fluid. Most deodorants are also antiperspirants. Tinycool is primarily a deodorant, so it addresses sweat odor and, to a lesser extent, sweat fluid.
Sweat fluid is the result of your body trying to cool itself. This fluid is odorless, but can be considered unpleasant, especially if you sweat a lot.
The active ingredients in antiperspirants block your pores, reducing sweating. However, this affects your body's internal temperature management, preventing toxins from escaping through your armpits.
When you stop using antiperspirant, your pores will no longer be clogged, which means you may sweat more than before, especially when you first start. The gel plugs that have been blocking your pores for years will gradually leave your body and this can take a while. For many people, this is an unpleasant experience and they decide that Tinycool doesn't work for them, causing them to switch back to their old deodorant. Our advice: give it time!
Bacteria live on your skin and in your clothes. When using a regular deodorant, you disguise the smell, but the smell is still there, even though you might not notice it at first. The smell is easy to wash off your skin, but getting it out of your clothes is not so easy.
A possible reason for still thinking that you smell is often because the bacteria are still in your clothes. When you put on your clothes again, a stale smell of old sweat can result. A good way to check whether you still smell is to determine if it is your skin or your actual clothes that still smell bad. Clothes not made of cotton tend to absorb many bacteria. Only by washing your clothes at 60 degrees or higher do these bacteria in your clothes disappear.
Everybody is different. For some people, Tinycool works for 48 hours, while for others, applying once a week is enough. Experience has taught us that for most people, applying twice or three times a week suffices. And the longer you use Tinycool, the less often you have to apply.
The best way to discover your ideal application frequency is to apply every 2 days initially. If you notice that it’s enough, you might want to try switching to applying every 3 days, and so forth.
Tinycool therefore does require some trial and error at first to discover your own ideal frequency.
The longer you use Tinycool, the less bacteria come back, hence the less often you will have to apply Tinycool. So, start applying Tinycool every other day and check how long it works for you by adding an extra day in between new applications. This way you will find the right balance for yourself.
Yes! Tinycool is 100% safe for pregnant women and breastfeeding moms. Tinycool contains no nasties and it’s totally innocent.
